Custom Work

Order Info.

  1. What is your turnaround?

    My turn around can vary from 3 days up to 2 weeks, depending on the season.  You can find the current turn around in my https://www.etsy.com/shop/MelMadeItonEtsy" target="_blank">SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT or in the confirmation email after ordering. If you need something by a certain date, please send me an email and I'm sure I'll be able to accomodate it.

  2. What if I forgot to add my personalization or need to change something?

    Please send me an email at [email protected] as soon as possible.  It's most likely I have not started working on it.  If by chance I have, we can still change it but there may be a small fee if I need to use more supplies to make the correction.  In the email include as much info. as possible about the inital order so I can match up the info. to the original order.  I will then email you to confirm your updates/changes.

Shipping Info.

  1. What method do you use to ship?

    I use USPS first class postage because it's economical for the customer.

  2. Can I upgrade to priority? Or add insurance/delivery confirmation?

    Yes, you'll see upgraded shipping options during the ordering process

  3. Can I ship my package as a gift?

    Yes, you can. Most of my items already come in a gift box with care instructions but if you'd like a note added to it, please add that in the NOES TO MELMADEITONETSY on the checkout screen and most of the time I can accomodate that. 

  4. Do you combine shipping?

    Yes. As a guideline I've started with $3 for the first item and .50 cents to a $1 for each additional item thus far. If you're placing a larger order, please pay for it and them send me an email regarding the price you paid for shipping. If it's over the flat rate amount for a Priorirty mail box, I can refund you the difference and send it Priority. I just need you to bring it to my attention.

Custom Work

  1. What if I don't see what I'd like, do you do custom work?

    Yes, most of my work IS custom. I have just listed as many things on my site as I can to give you an idea of what I can create for you. Please drop me an email at [email protected] with some ideas or call me at 612-703-9906 and we can discuss your design needs.

Returns

  1. What if I'd like to return my item?

    I strive to make my pieces exactly as you've ordered. Each items is custom made and most likely cannot be resold to someone else if returned. I would hope that you would love your piece when you receive it but if not, please contact me and hopefully we can come to an agreement to make you satisfied.

    If the error is on your part, there may be a small fee to remake the item. If the error is on my part, I will fix it without charge.

  2. Can I Cancel my Order?

    Because each piece is custom made I most likely cannot re-sell your item to someone else should you change your mind about it.  Please contact me as early as possible, if I have not started on your piece or am able to re-use the supplies for it, I can most likely cancel and refund your order. In some cases if I have started work on it there may be a small fee to cancel your order.
